Access the ADSL modem / routers set-up or configuration page containing the ISP login details and
replace your current login with:

And leave the password field blank (BT requires no password for the connection).

Restart or power cycle your router so it reconnects using the BT speediest login. From this point on
there will be no access to normal websites.

Change the DNS servers. If the DNS IP addresses are server assigned by DHCP from the router, this
can be done in several ways:

done by right clicking on the network connection (start -> control Panel -> network connections) and
selecting disable. Then right clicking the icon again and select enable.

If the DNS servers are manually set, they must be changed to use BT's DNS servers:
(If you have manually configured your DNS it may be wise to note these settings down before making
any changes). and

address bar:

Enter the telephone number in the box provided and click the GO button to start the test.

After the test has completed, the test results page will be displayed, which shows the calculated
download speed for the connection. Take a screenshot of the speedtest - to do this press control alt and
print screen together - attach the results to an email and send.
